Phoenix Heat Treating is a Pioneer in the Development of Logic Control Systems that Guarantees Consistency and Quality Processing.

Because of heat treating pioneers like Peter Hushek, president of Phoenix Heat Treating, huge advances in control-sensor technology and automation have been developed. We now require more detailed information to achieve greater accuracy, maintain safeties and reduce opportunities for human error. These new technologies began in 2001 when Pete Hushek’s innovative ideas lead the development of logic control systems that can electronically document processing with time-dated traceability that will certify consistency and quality.
PHT-Vacuum DeptThrough advanced processing technology that we call, “Intelligent Heat Treating©”, we can guarantee the entire heat-treating process through real-time monitoring to guarantee temperatures, ramp rates, atmosphere and soak times for each step. There is no human involvement to misinterpret a particular time sequence or ramp rate, or even turn off the equipment. And our digital printouts will certify that your tight, target-value parameters were met, or surpassed. The process can be repeated the next time we run the job.

People, process and product; the 3P approach to quality is how Phoenix Heat Treating has pursued our intelligent effort. Our people will always drive our commitment to quality. They establish the process that allows for excellence in the product we deliver.
Our process includes a tremendous amount of over site throughout the processing cycle. All aerospace and defense first time part numbers go through a detailed review before being released to production. All process parameters are reviewed by our metallurgist including fixturing and process. Our state-of-the-art ERP system allows for real-time tracking and data collection.
Data collection has become an invaluable tool. Our digital records extend back 20+ years. Job history helps to ensure consistency and digital photos during processing not only provide that history but also important documentation of your job’s time in our facility.
Our in-house lab can perform a variety of inspections; not limited to micro hardness and case depth. All processing requirements are reviewed by a quality engineer before a certification is generated.
